It was by far the most interesting experience I've had with a cop. So saturday I'm getting oil starvation and decide to run down to the Esso and get a funnel so I can top the oil up. On the way back I see 3 cops in a matter or a minute. No problem I'm going WELL under the speed limit and I remembered to pull the numbers off before I left. Just as I cross over the bridge on Kennedy I see the last cop jump on the brakes and make a U-turn. [oh crap!] So I'm thinking what the h@ll? For the first time in my life I really wasn't doing anything!

So as I turn into the comlex he gives me the cherries and I stop. Instead of getting out he pulls along side me. Know I'm thinking, "Oh great a lecture, I need this:rolleyes: " As he gets parrallel to me he has a big grin and says "Hey that last run of yours was great! I have a 99 Prelude, what have you done to your's to make it that fast?!"

PHEWWWW! :D

BTW I did ask and no he wasn't interested in coming for a run...

Heh - I get so nervous when three's a cop car behind me - even though I'm usually well behaved. I got pulled over a week or so ago and I was shaking and all flustered. Getting pulled over for a good run (while, of course, not likely to happen to me ;) ) would almost cause me a nervous breakdown LOL

I had a similar experience in london driving home from dropping a friend off.
I got pulled over after taking off from a light at low speed.
Turns out the cop was a subaru owner who wanted to check out my car,
we ended up talking for 45 minutes with his lights on......

I was walking back to my car and saw that happen all I can say is I know how you feel. Hence the reason I trailered my car to this weekends event. In three years of driving the focus and I have yet to successfully make it past Hurontario St via the 403 or the 427 via the QEW without getting stopped by the police. I've totally given up now I just use my trailer.

Lucky escape.
