Ah great, competition in the T5 class this weekend! Looking forward to it. Once again, I'll be a walk-in as my weekend is shaping up to be free.

i will also have the radar gun, so please make sure a sheet is printed up for top speeds...

Will there be any problems just showing up on Saturday to race if you aren't pre-registered? I saw on the site that space is limited?

We've got room for about 70 competitors - and 43 registered so far.

Show up and take your chances - we typically get 5-10 walk-ins!

I will be showing up too.
Ron will you bring the seven?
Hey Bob how about bringing the Livingston?

Looking over the entry list, its clear there are going to be some ding-dong class battles on Saturday and Sunday!

Whose going to end up in front in Improved between the Corvette boys and the Cobra? Gord Allcock, George Stamatakos and Colin Jennison were all in the 80s earlier this month but Frank Bragagnolo got into the 79s last year...

Andrew Wojteczko and Kenneth Lau look set to continue their rotary vs vtec tussle in SGT2 with times in the 82s but they better look out for Adam Hutchinson's driftin' 240SX in SGT3!

If Dave Barker shows up again for GT1 and runs 83s in his Camaro I'll have my hands full. My BMW had the speed last year but my racing program has taken its toll....

As for GT2, now that Russ Harding has got track tires on his Cobra he'll be a threat to both Jeff Graves' slippery Miata and Rob McAuley's brake dust-encrusted BMW.

Whose going to be on top in GT3? Since class leader Dave Pratte hasn't pre-registered its anyone's guess, but they'd better be quick to avoid being propositioned by Chris Paczynski's GT4 CRX!

T1 will feature the 'Showdown at Kohler Corral' when John Paczynski, Eric Juraschka, Malcolm Elston and rookie leader Brad Meise take to the track. All have won events in this class so far this year with their respective Celica, Civic SiR and VR6 GTI rides.

Anyone care to nominate a favourite to take top honours in T3 now that they'll have a full class the first time this year? If it rains I'd bet on Gail Walker's AWD Subaru but the weather looks like it'll be perfect! Hyundai time?

Yeah if that pesky Paczynski wasn't in GT4 I think I could give it a good run. :) Maybe I can get him drunk Saturday night. :)

How much will it cost to enter just on the Saturday? also if I just want to watch are they going to try and take 15 bucks from me at the front gate(last time they tried that it was a drag day as if I want to see drag racing  )

And I have Yoks so does that mean I will be entered in the Yok draw at the end of the day? Oh and I am a Novice

$130 at the door (was $110 8 days ago).

Possibly. We had to give them a list of competitors, and they may check to see if you're on it. Best bet is to come at registration time. They'll have their hands full with all the competitors. Tell them that you're a walk-in (but don't lie).

Registration opens at 7:30am!

I thought it was 110$ for a first time competitor, is that the case? I'm showing up tonight to camp, I hope it's O.K. to do that. I am looking forward to trying Solo1 for the first time, should be fun. Is there anything I should know about what to bring and such? If not I guess I'll see you dudes at the track!:D

MDM: Most everyone will have the stuff you may need, I'm sure Tom will have most everything with him too. However, the most important things, your helmet and sunscreen. Make sure you put on sunscreen, SEVERAL times during the day. You will get burnt. I know it sounds stupid but so many people get caught every year. Especially first timers when they're standing still marshalling for 2 hours.

Also come freshly showered, you're not going to want to use TMP's showers. Fresh clothes, lots of deodorant. :) (or like Dave says, drop into Ancaster for the other 3 esses. :)

Yeah Camping tonight is fine. The John and Chris will be there, I suspect Babzy will be too.
