View Full Version : the 114 has been purchased.. ha ha
so.. 50 litres of 114 unleaded race fuel has been purchased for this weekend....and my car returns to its nemisis track.... for the last 2 years every time i have arrived at TMP...my car has been trailered home...not working(first year wires got melted, second year blew motor)....so this year....its time for the 240sx to show the track whats what... (i hope)
so far boost levels have been at a nice 12psi...with a slow boost creep to 14psi at max rpm (6000)...boost is being raised to 18psi..and should creep to 20psi or so....
this should allow the 240sx to be able to beat down the corvettes i hope....or possibly blow up ?

I hope you have better luck with the unleaded 114 then I had. I ran my GP on it, and didn't really help the knock and timing situation over Sunoco 94. Eventually I just had to reduce the boost a little.
Lemme know how you make out with the stuff.
what compression were you running? i am using stock timing an 8.6:1 compression...

I am running 8.5:1 on the GP. Having said all that...The Eaton M90 blower is pretty inefficient to start. Bump the boost slowly, and see what happens.
at 20 psi of boost i will still be in the low 70% efficency range with my compressor...
but yeah every run i will bump the boost up a bit and see how it goes

Get that little wheezer running... the single-atmosphere Mustang is hungry for Japanese at Shannonville.

I just got back from Cayuga tonight... wow what a disappointment. There must have been something in the air that made my car go slower.

What did you run?
Adam I ran 19 lbs of boost last year in my 2.2 it made 313 hp
i never had a problem with octane but I was using 54 gph injectors you need more fuel octane helps I won't be there to witness your success or failures but you should see me at shanonville good luck
