Hi All,
There are still some spots left near prime realestate to put your tents. If there are any more clubs that want representation but can not supply volunteers, that would be acceptable as well. Might as well exhibit what CASC is all about and show the variety of clubs that are making this possible.
For some volunteers and instructors, I don't have your email address, my apologies, so I'll post the email I sent last night below.
Clubs Represented:
TLMC
SPDA
HADA
WOSCA
Hi All,
Thank you for volunteering for the 2009 CASC-OR Toyo Tires Advanced Driving Clinic. We have lots of eager students this year.
Arrival Times:
8:00 AM for all instructors and volunteers, but some of us will be setting up from 7:30 AM.
Teams:
Students will be divided into 2 teams and assigned team numbers, which will be written on their cars. Instructors and volunteers working together will make this event run very smooth. To help things move along smoothly, team leads have been assigned for each of the groups. Please see the list below for the bolded names. These persons will be your single point of contact for the day, and will provide you with the assignments of the day.
Track Setup:
In between sessions, during the breakouts, instructors and volunteers should work together to reconfigure the lot for the next exercise, there's only 15 minutes between each exercise to re-set the track.
Classroom session:
Each club will be provided some time (Between 3 - 5 minutes) to talk about their club and to take questions. Talk about the value proposition that your club offers the newcomer, club strengths, Club Activities, focus, etc.
Food and Drink:
Food will be provided for all the volunteers, as well as bottled water. Washrooms are located inside the powerade center.
Things to bring to represent your club:
Hand outs
Loaner Helmets
Food items
promotional items (Hats, etc.)
