That looked like sooo much fun! man I wish I could have gone! I am now officially mad at my sister for scheduling my nephew's baptism today!! That course looked like it was for the most part suited for my car, lots of room to use the power!

It sure helped with getting a feel for the car again after the winter, but I found that the cones change the line too much to give much of an experience advantage. I was often confused by my my habitual lapping line, as the cones were set up to enter corners from the wrong side, or at different speeds.
It's interesting to compare lapping & autox on the same track, as it makes lapping look easy.

Great footage, nice runs as always. Some of those boxes were REAL tight. I almost thought I was going to see my Z in that mix, it was right in my number range : (
That course was way too much fun! It was interesting getting a feel for the new car; I had lots of understeer into corners and oversteer out of them on my first two runs while getting used to the car. You guys with R compounds are nuts, I went for a ride Snizzzoops car and holy crap it sticks.

Sorry I grabbed what was going by when I was there, but I would also pause to have conversations. I've learned that if someone starts talking to you while filming it's better to just stop and finish the conversation rather than have them continue to talk over the video.

I had my camera there at corner 5 - when they finally sent enough workers that I didn't have to run all over straightening up cones :)

Ah, great! Don't have enough pictures of this car yet.
Is there anyway to download those? I know smugmug doesn't allow right-clicking to save.

I'll release the download block as long as members use them for personal use only. I do sell photos and have submitted to newspapers and magazines so I retain all rights to my photos.
And congratulations on your winning time.

Awesome, thanks Keith. I think you got me a fraction of a second before hitting a cone.

By personal use, I intend to post them on facebook and some web-boards via my own flickr account. Unless you have a problem with that. I would always ask permission before submitting them to any other host or publisher.

That's not a problem as long as you don't link to the original (I'm not sure you can). You'll probably be reducing the original to a web friendly size as well. I ask for notification of web use - and you've just notified me :)
I also have a flickr account under this same name.
I can also be emailed at rogers.com using my Login name; no caps.

Thank you sir! You have a bunch of great shots, the ones where you panned with the slower shutter is neat. You almost make me look fast lol.
