Here are the results folks! (http://solo2.casc.on.ca/events/2009results.php)
If you find any errors, please be sure to notify someone on the committee or post up on this thread.
Congrats to Matthew N for taking FTD in the ... motorcycle powered rocket?
As well, to Marshall M in the "Florida car" miata for taking Pax.
And lastly, Tom W in his M3 for taking top points in the Rookie category!

I don't see Marshall's time in the "Fastest Run Times" list.
Also, where are the Inter-Club Challenge standings?

Not sure why Marshall wasn't in there, but it does show on the PAX times.
The Inter-Club standings have not yet been completed. Once they are, and they are given to me I will post them.

Fastest Run Times are split into Prepared and Stock classes. Scroll down to see Marshall at the top of the Stock class list.
Interclub standing will be out by the end of the week.
Also I need to add sponsor listing for those who declared sponsors. I will do this soon and it will replace one of the reports.

Only top 8 in the Novice standings? I thought my best time would have landed me in there, my PAX was 102.823, but even on the overall results I am not listed as a rookie.

Wow I didn't realize that Mat had taken more time of in UOIT's FSAE car. Sub 100 is astounding in ANY car.
BTW that car breaths through a 20mm restrictor.

By the way the window title for the results is displaying them as 2008 results ;)

Yep Matt can drive... He's almost 10 seconds faster than me in the same car.
I need to find some speed

It does not show my club as SPDA.
Maybe they are embarrassed to have me. :o

I'm a RWD Miatra and a member of SGR. I don't think SPDA wants me either. :(
That's it.. I hereby tender my resignation! Someone else can have the pleasure of noting down with JoeT says! :p

Really fun event and it was awesome to finally get to drive the car! I nailed a pylon on my last run and I wasn't shifting to try and preserve our drive chain, so there were probably a few more seconds to be had in the car.
We'll be coming out to more events, so hopefully we can get the car dialed in :D.

Being Emailed a certificate of my participation was a neat touch! Thanks!

Gary, what are the chances of combining all of the event results into one document (pdf). Linking to three files is a pita.....
Also, can the stock ftd times be slotted into the rest of the ftd times instead of being separate at the bottom of the same document. That's confusing....
So what software is now calculating the series scoring results? Hopefully it doesn't have to be done by hand......

My primary club should be SPDA and Mark G should be HADA (not TLMC).....

As you know I am just learning, doing this for the first time after a few years in which you did the job so well. Don't know about a single .pdf but I will look at it.
In future there will be separate reports for FTD overall and FTS for each of stock and prepared classes.
Axware provides the results but I have manually massaged for now as we learn.

Was it really worth the switch when we had something that did exactly what we needed it to do?:)
Change for the sake of change isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sometimes old school is the only school.....

My club still shows SGR. It should be SPDA. Unless I'm looking in the wrong spot? Which is definitely a possibility :)

TLMC has been using the Axware software for 3 years now and are very happy with it. I'm sure our timer would answer any questions you guys might have.
As for combining the .pdf files, that's easy to do in Acrobat once you have the individual .pdf files.

I understand it was free and the actual times are more reliable (external clock rather than using the pc clock). Plus it can run in a modern version of windows which means more reliable computer.
I asked the exact same question when I first saw it.

I don't know if it's really an issue, but I'm not shown as a rookie in the class results. Every other result breakdown is shown correctly however.
