View Full Version : 1st dry event! (TMP aug 23-24)

Well, that was an exciting weekend ... some wacky radio problems, stupid long sound test, and the knobs joyriding the track at the end sure made for interresting time!

As usual I had a great time, and look forward to the next event! Fortunately, the next one is only 2hrs away from me ... driving 6hrs back after 6hrs of racing/marshling was not fun :(

Yeah.. brutal drive eh?

Second event was pretty good. As basic as that little course is, I kinda like it. I mean, I think I like it better than Nelson. Then again it could just be because it's different. (That was my first time on the Club Circuit)

Not a bad event at all. I really enjoyed the full track, but not a fan of the little one. No T5 Mustang showed, but a very well prepped '59 Mini did a few laps. One of the best race Minis I have ever seen, including many of the magazines. Drool.

On a sad note, I will sitting out for the rest of the season. My tires are finished, and my clutch is going south again. Both easily fixed, but since I'm not sure what I'm doing for a ride next year, it may be money poorly spent.

Looking forward to running next year already.

Preliminary Results are posted. Lap times and whatever speeds were aquired on Saturday are there too.

Cool. Congrats to both Les and Dipal for robbing me of second place on Sunday in GT2 :) Times are still all over the map. Really gotta work on the consistency!

dood, it's all about www.wiredmotorsports.com/soloontario/ That is the new and improved home of all things Solo in Ontario :)

I'd imagine the reason the old site is down is because the DNS is being swapped over to Wired.

Not sure why the domain would be down. Though I do have the domain setup here on my DNS, so of course I can get to it. :)

Perhaps it is being newly propogated, though.. there shouldn't be a noticable interruption there unless the original site was taken down at the same time.
