Have to say this, the competition in BSP has been awesome this year.
Daniel, Peter, Andrew and myself have been battling it out all year and right now there is less then 1.7 points between 1st and 4th.
The best news is that we are all friendly and that everyone has been looking out for each other offering tips and pointing out spots that may cause problems for other guys in our class.
I have to admit its the most fun I have had in a number of years and to be me there is no clear cut winner this year... I think we all win based on the relationships and competitiveness that grew this year.
This is what solo 2 is all about.....

I've noticed that! That's awesome.
I want an AWD or FWD car just for the sheer field depth available! You're right... if you've got 4-7 people who can win on any given day... that's what solo 2 is ALL about!

It also means the classification system is really working for you guys.
It's great that you have to battle every time for 1st, instead of battling for 3rd...
hmmm, maybe I should move to whatever class you guys will be in next year...

Great post Tony!!
Thats exactly the spirit between us cone heads that normal people wouldn't understand,BTW I was so close to prepping the corolla for SP last spring it wasn't funny-I honestly didn't think I could make a 17 year old corolla competitive with scooby's and blow torchs. It would have been really interesting if I had of joined the bsp ranks this year instead of goin for a repeat eh!
Logan you don't think the classing system is working in ss?don't forget that all bsp cars started in other classes first two.BSS just happens to have a huge range of car types,hp/tq ranges, weights, which wheels are driven and on and on-makes it tough to pick a car for a given day. There are courses that certainly favour one car over another-some coures even favour certain drivers(because of driving styles)over others.
Two many variables to label the car classing as the only cause me thinks.

Definitely an awsome class to be racing in. I think all of us have a class win, and we're very close in points. The quality of both the cars and the drivers is fantastic, and everyone is very friendly.
Thanks for an awsome season guys,
-Pete

Yeah... really!!!
I'm thinking of trading Andrew for the OTHER chick-car... straight up... I get turbo... he gets RWD!!!
We're in the final stages of negotiations... that bastard wants to keep the "bud-vase"!!! A-Hole!!! You can't have it both ways!!!

they have 1.6's...
'99's (sport pachage) are widely recognized as the "best" year to compete in...
better engine / chassis and will still fit 13's over the brakes!
