Hi All,

This is the event we are taking a look at. It's the Quebec provincial challenge, loated at PMG test center in Blainville.

The tarmac is 1km x 1km wide. All cars are inspected for oil leaks and any leaking car will not be allowed to enter the event. It's a high speed event similar to SCCA type of race.

Excerpt from the supplimentary rules:

Important rules for PMG event

Spectators:

Spectators will be allowed during the event. However the entrance to the site will be controled at the gate. Spectators will not be allowed to enter the site with their car. The CADL will ensure transportation to the Delta track from the gate. Transport facilities with a Voyager minivan will be conducted every hour: i-e 10:00, 11:00, 12:00...etc. So spectators will have to wait at the gate entrance for pick-up. Same apply for exiting the site.

Children not admitted:

PMG Technmologies can not accept the presence of childrens on their installations for insurance reasons. Therefore, childrens won't be allowed on the site.

Registration:

The registrations will be held from 8:00AM - 9:30AM at the main entrance of PMG Complexe. Special inspection will be conductedat the entrance. PMG and CADL will inspect cars before they can enter on the site. Every cars will be inspected for oil leakage(and other leakage) and WILL BE REFUSE if found to be leaking. Please fix your leaking car or you will be refused. Manu don't bring your 300ZX.

Tires:

Tire changing will be allowed in the paddock on the Delta. However jack won't be tolerated on the asphalt, every tire change shall be made by using a wood board under the jack. Ensure to bring a wood board if you need to change your tires.

Inscription cost:

Unchanged: 40$ members, 60$ non-member

Warranty that cost an arm:

In order to rent this track, the CADL had to made a deposit of 10000$ in guaranty. This deposit is to ensure that the people renting the track (CADL) will leave it in the same condition as it was when they arrived. It means with no new motor oil spot on it and no holes. This amount represent a lot of money for the CADL, so we don't want to loose it. Here are actions that are enforced for that day:
1. Cars will park on grass surrounding the track.
2. No jack tolerated on the Asphalt, use a wood board will be mandatory
3. Every Pylon Duty stations will have absorbent
4. If you see oil spot, go get absorbent, then advise a CADL administrator
5. If you see a car leaking oil, go get absorbent, then advise a CADL administrstor
Again, we don't want to loose that deposit, that's why we will inspect each and every car thoroughly for leakage et we will be very strict on the above rules.

that may be the best tarmac lake in canada...........

if you go i don't think you'll have any regrets!

Watch out if they are using the back part of the 4 mile oval, back in 2000 when we used it for SOLO 1 the straight was around a mile long and most cars where nearing 200kph on it(like ITR's and S2000's)(so vettes of stuff would be nearing 240kph or so atleast) then hard braking for a 40kph corner. Bring spare brakes!!!!!!!!!!!

PS, don't expect to camp.......

This should be the event of the year!!! This is one of the biggest skid pad in North America. As for track design, it should be fun because some of the MTL drive in the top 10 SCCA... I'll be there. :D

As someone did mention there is NO camping NOr kids under 18 allow in this facility (insurance). Car will be check with MIRROR for oil leak (so mirror leak don't event try), this check will be perform by PMG themself. There is a 10 000$ deposite for this lot, that is a lot of money for the CADL club. The CADL club has been allow back there for the first time in 2 years... Big thanks to ****en idot Stalone and his movie Driven that made million of $$$ in damage!!!

Hope to see some off the people there!

Dynamic Test Area
This large triangular asphalt area, the equivalent of 18 football fields, can be accessed at high speeds, and provides a dynamic test area designed for heavy and light vehicles. During the winter months, part of this area is used to generate ice surfaces of various types, depending on the needs of the client.

Okie Dokie..

We're going to the races... It's amazing what people do for excitement. UGH...

Anyways, Tony K, Pete (hopefully), and I will be at the CADL Quebec Championships, doing our thing. If anyone is interested in coming down to La belle province it would be nice to see familiar faces.
