I just completed the MCO school in May and want to do Solo Sprints this year for more track time, should I also take the Solo Sprint school in July before I start doing events???

It all depends if you have track experience on MIR. The July school is for people who have little to no experience on MIR. It can be a very dangerous track if you do not know the lines. If you have never been on it before then you will have to do the school. Let us know the extent of your experience on MIR so we know.

Thanks

I've been to it many, many times but the last time I was on it in a car was 30 years ago........I think I'll take the school.....:D

Thanks!

In the time that I have been solosprinting, I have found the schools to be the best value in making my car go faster. There is no mod that you can do to your car for the same price that will lower your lap times like a school. I have done the MIR school 1 time and the DDT school 2 times, IIRC. Having been on MIR before taking the school, I can definately tell you that your car, your tires and your lap times will all be happy that you took the school.

I agree... took the MIR school twice within 3 years of each other

For $425 (some groups charge this much for a lapping day alone with NO formal instruction) you get lots of track time, good instruction, AND entry into the SoloSprint Event 5 the following day ;). Pretty good deal, actually! :)
