Jay,

Interesting that BMW refuses to bring the hatchback to North America.

I guess they figure that Mazdaspeed 3 , WRXs and STIs are just for stupid jerks who want to load gardening materials in the back and REAL peformance enthusiasts just want a trunk.

The fact that the Hatchback (wagon, estate or whatever) does so well in Europe just makes it all that much worse.

I found the flashing blurs about as enjoyable as watching jar-jar on Star Wars I... Get rid of those and I'd give it a thumbs up.

Well, I think that the last experience with a 318ti kind of soured them to the idea. :)

Ummm ... yeah, but that was an ugly POS, and had thay brought something other than the useless 4cyl, maybe it would have done better :)

The problem is they lump us in with the Americans ... yeah, maybe in the US they don't like hatches, but they definitly seem to be popular in Canada!

in the US the 135i comes with a sunroof standard...in canada its an option!

Arek, my thoughts exactly. The 318 was pretty doomed before it got here. The 135 is a really neat car but not really useful enough for me.

My GAWD ,:eek: will I end up joining SPDA !!!???

(Don't worry, certainly not yet)

That does it. I'm putting a honkin' big wing on my Camaro. Maybe one on the front too! Maybe paint it primer grey. Would that make me cool enough or do I need the chrome 21" rims as well ?

Let's ask Adam. :D It might have to be an aluminum WOO on the front, though.

I assume that means you have deserted the 14x10" reverse wheels idea?
