V710s...backwards?

Does anyone run V710's with the groove's on the outside? Thoughts?

Hmm, good question! Depending on how my tires hold up this year, I may have to try that option myself! :D

I have done it without much success but OTOH Andy has made a lot more use out of old V710s than I ever have.

On a side note, I now see that Tire Rack claims to have some more Victoracers (one of my favourites) in stock. Last year when I needed one, I was told 2 weeks but instead it was more like 6 months before they arrived.

Warning: When I got my "new" Victoracers last year, they were already 1.5 years old i.e tire code 4006 i.e built 40th week of 06. Tire Rack basically said tough S***, we make no claims about build dates. NOT impressive.

Andy, I think I noticed that your V710's were mounted "backwards" this past weekend. Did they still work ok like that? :confused:

Basically, they worked fine. My lap times were a bit off from last year, but I believe that is because of other factors than the tires being mounted 'backwards'.
