Great Poster !
Wish I could make it out - haven't been to an autocross in 5 years - but that's a regional road race weekend.
Good luck to all and hope it's a great event.

Awesome poster! Too bad for the cone
I went to Pre-Register for next Sunday and it has the pre-reg closed already. The event after was closed down too. Will it be re-opened since the event was moved a week later?
Being locked out of these things is starting to give me a complex...someone in D-Mod must be running registration :D

Is this not the WOSCA event? Has the October 5th date been changed to June 28th?

It was the WOSCA event but when they couldn't find a lot we took the date over. TLMC is hosting the Oct. 4th event as well.

Since it's TLMC insurance and TLMC people it's TLMC that's the official host club.

Though, will it be a corvette friendly tlmc course, or a wosca friendly miata course?

Hey Steve - just to confirm, non-TLMC and non-CASC regional folks are still eligible, right?

I've seen a Miata kick but on a Corvette Friendly TLMC course and on a Miata Friendly WOSCA course, so we shall see on the 28th;) !!!!!
PS I don't own a Miata and I prefer the biger course. I need the extra space to windout the hampster wheel under my hood.

I've never actually seen a corvette freindly course. Every event I've gone to has either been won by a miata, subaru, or honda. I assume a corvette friendly event is a drag race without any corners. :D

Corvette friendly = 2.5MI super speedway :D

IIRC at the nationals in 2005 a C5 Z06 took FTD both day beating a lot of fast cars.
Even though I own an MX-5 (it's not officially a Miata :p ) it will be a typical TLMC course.

Hey Steve how about at least one stretch where one could use full throttle for more than .5 seconds-I'd like to see if I can get full boost.:D

Nah I don't mind a slalom, didn't like the weird entry angle into the last events slalom but thats behind us now.:)
I'm just thinking of a course we had last year that had a hard acceration stretch kinda across the lot diagonally from the lower end, still turning a bit but able to put some power down and get moving.
For pax(which I hate)it makes sense to give the higher modded cars a chance to use the power not just change directions continually for 40 odd seconds.;)

Anything will be beter then the way that slalom started :p
The only problem with a cross lot like last year is I think the bump might have turnd into a jump over the winter:eek:

Will the rest of the sponsor stickers be available? I just need to know whether or not to bring extra magnetic material. :)

Bah, by the time Sunday rolls around the forecast will have changed 4 times, and the rain will be on Monday.
But even if it rains, we'll have a good time... Subaru owners that is :)
Hope to have all the stickers we can get!

Well, I've told my wife that we're rescheduling her birthday until Monday. So I should be there on Sunday as well.
P.S.: I may need a place to stay on Sunday night.

Not looking to good at the moment...for those of us with wrong-wheel-drive anyway :p 70% chance of showers, 10-15mm total rain for the day, high of 23 degrees.

R888's perform very very well in the rain. In 2008, event 1, I ran one of the first R888's in Mosport DDT and I remember walking on the tarmac and sliding around. With the R888's they hung on and were pretty sticky. As long as there are no huge puddles of standing water, they do well.
