Yeah I watched the whole episode. The Stig changes a lot of times but mostly is Ben Collins.

I am not going to spoil it for others HE was there purely because the Ferrari FXX can only be driven by a select few. Who better to drive the car at the limit then him. So they tied everything together in the show.. purely for fun.

Awsome episode.

I'm just watching it now and I don't buy it. Though you can't argue with that FXX lap time, wow. Nothing short of an F1 car is going to take that one.

How much of that time was Michael, how much was the FXX, and how much was the race tires? ;)

For faster, the Caparo T1 was 1:10.6, the Aston Martin DBR9 was 1:08.6, and the Renault R24 was 59 seconds - on a wet course!

I don't think Shumacher was ever the Stig. I agree with Vinnie, they did it for fun.

That locomotive was mind-boggling.

Damn he can drive! Well, except at the end.... haha good episode

the FXX isnt even street legal. And iirc if it isnt street legal, then its not allowed on the board.

Here's your Monday morning useless trivia fact: the Top Gear theme song is actually the Almond Brother's Band song "Jessica".

It came up while radio-channel surfing on the way home from TLMC yesterday.

Hrmmff...who knew? :confused:;)

Umm not to be a stickler but its the Allman brothers, not Almond. Allman is the last name of the brothers that were in that band, Duane died in a plane crash though. too bad.

R.I.P. Duane Allman.

Street legal where? It's pretty astonishing what can have plates put on it in Britain. Any way it was removed from the board on Sunday because "it was on slicks and slicks aren't allowed".

I just saw the second episode of season 13. They took the FXX time off the board because it has slicks. I remember them saying the cars had to be able to go over a speed bump in one of the earlier seasons too didnt they?
