Ahh, the mysteries of AI.
In more relevant discussion, what tires do you have on the new beast? That video showed they have some pretty mighty grip!

Stock tires on the STi, and I didn't think they gripped that well:eek::eek: but I'm working on some new R888's right now!

Yes, please get 888's so I don't have to look at 710's.... this week. :p
I just think it's funny Ryan and I were discussing there was no way anyone could take a class on a street tire bonus and well.. there you have it. :)
And to think, you're going to get faster as you learn the new car.

Actually, I said no one would "beat" the street tire bonus....being faster on streets with the bonus than they would be on appropriate Rs. I think Trung's raw time was a 65.3, I don't see how he wouldn't have run a sub 64 on A6s or 710s.
FWIW, Curtis FTD'd (raw) a cold damp event last year on Bridgestones.

Trung's raw time should have been a 65.6 to do a 64.3 with the 2% bonus.
Watching his video, the tires don't sound like they're complaining much at all. Considering how snug the course was, I bet you the gap between a 2% bonus or R's on the same run would have been less so than compared to the previous course. It's a guess, but there were only a few areas where I was coming close to the edge of adhesion on the RA-1's. I would have to expect 710's would have done noticably better considering the ambient temperatures.
