so..it takes a few hits on my head with a hammer before i actually clue in.....
1=turbo cars are hard to field in racing
2= never underestimate the heat generated by a turbo car
3=when you think you have enough heat shielding....add two times more....
4=keep everything that can burn away from the turbo area...
5=when you buy a set of rims...buy the absolute widest set and widest tires that can fit on the car...
6=bolts are your enemy......how to stop bolts from coming loose..... WELD them all on...and worry about taking them off later.
7=ridged mount the engine...it makes things way easier...
8=don't melt your master cylinder..it makes it very hard to stop with your brakes.
9=go for the throat..why mess around with low boost..when you could go much higher...
this year was a very good test session for the car...lots more bugs to work out...but this winter they will all be corrected properly, and the car will be much faster next season and reliable.
