Topic: Racing @ Downsview Airport
The other morning on my way to work I noticed cars racing there they had a tent setup similar to an AutoX event and bunch of cars lined up could this be begining of track there
Can anyone offer some insight?
The police has a setup on Wilson Heights BLVD. They teach advanced driving technicques there. They frequently setup tents for autox type of events. But it's for the cops.

I see,
So, the cops who are trying to prevent street racing are racing on a PERFECT venue that would in all likelyhood give torontonians an outlet for speed, while the people who can draw the same torontonians and give them an outlet for their speed, and possibly reduce street racing, are not allowed access to the venue.

You can have it... just PAY FOR IT!
Wait till next year. A proposal is being developed for submission as we speak.

University of Toronto is running a Formula SAE event there on Sept. 27th. No doubt they have been setting up that same course a few times to practice.
