If anyone else is coming, but has not yet run a Solo 1 event this year, please drop me a line.

With the number of people we've got coming out for our last weekend, any advanced information will speed up registration and gridding.

You can either email me or fax in the details found on the forms (my contact info is on the form). If you need help completing the Classification form, then get in touch with Dave Pratte (Dave on this forum).

Thanks, and see you on the weekend!

I will be coming too . Is there room for me?
Also how does S2000's get in to solo1? I thought they are suppose to have a proper roll bar or hard top? I would like to run my Boxter too?

Oh, how I would love to come out and take a rip at SGT3! Unfortunately, the car is still sitting in the garage sans transmission after the Kensai day at Mosport (during the last 10 minutes of which I managed to destroy 2nd gear in 5B and shatter the transmission casing). The new case only just arrived late last week, is being rebuilt this week, and will be going back into the car perhaps Thurs. Then the car also needs a new brake master cyl.

Oh the joys of [the in betweens of] racing.

Then there's the fact that the only tires I have left are slicks and we're supposed to be getting a Hurricane (literally). :)

It will not rain!

It will not rain!!

It will not rain!!!

Now that my full depth Toyos (purchased to be used only for Solo rain days and driving schools) are as slick as my hoosiers, we finally get a rain date?

It was not clear what roll-over protection the S2000s had. They are allowed to run under Quebec rules (as are Boxters), but are not allowed under Ontario rules. Interesting that we are insured by the same organization!

Hopefully the ASN National Solo Committee will address this, and get us a unified set of GCRs (that will include point-by-passing when not competing).

Seriously? Point-by-passing when not competing? Is this part of a wish list or something that is under discussion? It would be so fantastic if we could do that!

Tow the 7 with the boxter ... it's light enough, is't it? :D

Robert , The OMSC club exec and organizers have decided to enforce the rulebook and the S2000s will not be allowed to run with just the OE rollover protection . The same goes for your Boxster. Any major changes in the rules need to be made at the end of the season. Certainly your input at the workshop would be appreciated.

Thanks Dave for clearifying the rules. I wll be attending the workshop and will try to change the rules for factory roll bar ragtops. It seems silly not alowing the Boxster to run in Solo 1 when the Porsche club has lapping on the big track [Mosport}and allows Boxsters ? Lets see Mosport straight 270k , Shannonville 200k?
Any how I will bring the Seven on Sat and Sun . Watch it rain all weekend!

Well, the S2000 owner installed a kick-ass roll bar and he should be there for the event.
