- Registration opens at 7:45 and closes at 9:15.
- Event fee is $30 (HADA members $25).
- Registration is limited to the first 80 paid competitors. In order to provide a smooth event for all, this will be strictly enforced so please be early and on time.
- Any registrants after 9:15 will incur a $10 late fee.
- All trailers and tow/support vehicles must be parked in the bigger south parking lot. Only competition cars will be allowed in the west parking lot (main paddock).
- Scoring for the day will reflect the Provincial series however official scores for BOTH series will be adjusted afterwards to include the correct participants.
- Provincial drivers may be required to place a ‘P’ at the end of their number (for timing purposes). Details will be given at registration.

Supplementary Regulations:
• All persons attending the event (drivers, spectators, family, friends, etc) SHALL read and sign the waiver and obtain a wristband.
• All competitors SHALL attend the driver’s meeting. Drivers will not be allowed to run unless they have attended the meeting.
• In the event a competitor encounters a downed or out of position cone while on course, the competitor must SLOW down to slower than 10 km/h and complete the course at that speed, ending in the stop box. The competitor will get a re-run, subject to the chief timer and/or organizer's approval. If the chief timer and/or organizer do not see an obvious reduction of speed to a crawl, the competitor will not receive a re-run.
• Absolutely no consumption of alcoholic beverages or equivalent on the premises at any time prior, during or after the event.
• Exercise care at all times when in the pit area. Competitors found to be practicing or tire warming in the pit area, adjacent lots, or anywhere near the event will be immediately disqualified with no refund. A 10km/h speed limit will be in place at all times when driving in the pit area.
• Competitors or spectators are not allowed on the course or in the timing area unless performing designated official or marshalling duties. Every effort will be taken to post times as quickly as possible. Please do not disturb the timing officials.
• If you have to leave the event site during the proceedings, act professionally! Motorsport is under intense scrutiny. If you leave for gas or lunch, etc., drive responsibly. Remove all competition numbers when leaving the property and make sure your license plates are clearly visible and are installed correctly. Competitors will be responsible for the actions of their guests. Make them aware of the consequences of their behavior.
• No littering! Please keep the event site clean. There will be garbage bags on site.
• There is a high likelihood that photographers will be on site during the event taking pictures of vehicles. It is the competitor’s responsibility to either remove or cover their license plates during competition to prevent them from being published on the internet or other forms of media.
• Stop-box infractions will be strictly enforced, especially in regards to coming to a complete stop. Take a second to cool-down before entering the pit area after your run.
• No competitor or spectator may cross the track area. All persons will be required to stay behind the caution tape or on the sidewalk nearest the building unless they have clearance from the organizer. Photographers will not be allowed anywhere in the course area. They must stay behind the caution tape or on the sidewalk nearest the building.
• All competitors will be required to marshal. If you do not marshal, none of your times will count. Marshalling is a serious duty and safety is of the utmost importance. Marshals are required to be alert to the event proceedings. NEVER turn your back to a vehicle on course and remember that 2 vehicles will be on course.
• Event and / or Series Organizers have the right to refuse entry or disqualify a competitor from competition for any reason. Decisions of the organizers are final.

If there are any questions, please email autoslalom@hadamotorsport.com. Thanks.

And for HADA series participants, the series shirt should be ready for this event.

He does have a point. If the club is paying the $5 levy per head to have everyone scored then that's cool. If it is a cash grab, that's not cool....

4.9.3 in the CASC-OR autolslalom rule book there is no longer a per-head levy to the region. All region fees are covered by the event levy of $350.

Whatever..... Nice change to the rule book, the series always relied on the club or two that paid those extra levies to help with the budget.

Hey I guess my HADA membership is almost going to pay for itself, at one event.....

The change was brought about for this very reason. To stop the additional charge for regional competitors as that was seen as discouraging people from entering regionals.

It had more to do with the Regional Series needing a better idea of its income so it chose a value for the levy and left both the gain and loss to the club to absorb. Its intention was also to get the club to promote its event and increase participation so that the levy would be distributed to the most number of entrants. I was HADA Autoslalom Director at the time the change was introduced.

has casc-or solely hosted a regional event?

or have they always piggybacked on a Club to host the event?

I can remember Casc running an event, and I have only been doing this for a few years. I am sure others can remember more.

BOT - See you all Saturday!

We're pretty excited too, and look forward to running the M without cooling issues this time! ;) (I promise it's fixed: almost everything coolant flows through has been replaced :) )

Heheh! Not quite! It's all just part of of my strategy! I'm saving the R-888's for Picton where they'll be near their ideal depth. Your Hoosiers won't help you on a 3+km slalom course... :p

So how did D-Mod shake out??? Opal and I finished second in the Nav rally. And I made it to the Semi-Finals in KOTH...
