I might pop by, but its exam week of my last semester...focus is elsewhere unfortunately. Good luck all!
Great event despite a storm delay lasting more than an hour. We only lost a few cars during the delay and managed 8 runs and some fun runs before 4.
My highlight of the day was a battle with Daniel and his STI for FTD, we went back and forth for 4-5 runs I think. In the end he managed to take it, which I guess is fine since I ended up FTD and ahead of him at the last TLMC event. :p

Yup, good day once the sun came out, lotsa runs, (almost too fast) Congrats to Daniel on his 49.XX FTD. (I was just happy to be within a couple of seconds...)
Thanks to everyone who came by and we hope you had a good one!

Yeah,
It sure turned out to be a great day... after the storm rolled through.
I still dont know how stupid parts break on my car. Oh well, I still got my best time through some zipties holding my throttle cable :p
See you guys next time.

Definitely a fun day, thanks! You guys (TLMC) always put on a great event... rain or shine. or both....

Steve, I really enjoyed the battle as well - awesome driving!! I think we both managed to find time out there that we might not have found if we weren't pushed by the other. This is the kind of thing (close competition) that keeps me coming back for more, for sure...
Cheers! :D

Arris, keep making these awesome tracks!!! Getting deep into 3rd gear on a long sweeper is always lots of fun!:D
Great day after the rain, lots of good competition. Our 3rd team member Jeff, improved HUGE finishing only a hair behind me and less than a second behind Tim!
Look forward to the shoot out! See you all then.:)

Deep into 3rd:eek:? I gotta get a shorter tranny (or go faster) cuz I don't think I was anywhere near third!!! And I did a 52.4 which isn't ridiculous!

I decided to try third on my last run. Managed to shave almost a full second...too bad I took out the end cone.
*EDIT* Chances are it wasn't the gear change that saved me the time...but it was a nice coincidence.

Man did it ever get hot after the storm rolled thru,of course it was the 1st event ever that I forgot a hat and the sunscreen was in the truck with the wife-which left in the morning while it was pouring rain.
So I scorched my skull pretty good.
Too many people left, the course was running way too smoothly as I got outa the car to the marshal station and just had time to get in the car then repeat-I was really whipped after all the sun and 0 time between all the runs.
Arris after the drivers meeting I figured out why the 1st part of the last run was good and the last part not so much-the 1 front tire had corded 3" wide all the way around.Oh well, I was only 3/10's slower so the 1st half musta been pretty good.;)
Looking forward to the shootout, see you all then.

Sounds like we both blew our last run. Mine was directly my own fault, where as yours sounds indirectly your fault. I'm guessing that my 51.5 would have held up...even if your tire didn't cord.
Oh...it turns out I also corded some tires...two to be exact. I hope to be on 225 RA1s for the rest of the season. Hopefully that helps.
As far as the shooutout goes...I won't be there. The wife wants to go camping.
I'll be at the HADA/CASC-OR event this Saturday though.

Ya, I know, I have definitely been considering it, however I am thoroughly enjoying these Star Specs... The old money tree is getting slim being in school for the past 8 months straight. I need to get another set of 8" wheels because there is no way I can go back to stock size tires after having 245s.
