View Full Version : Any idea of event dates for next year?

Any idea at all? My brother is a firefighter and needs to book his holidays soon, is there any chance the dates, at least tentative ones, are floating around?

If not, when do they usually get picked? He'd love to run the season next year, but it all hinges on time off.......

I believe the schedule will be pretty much in final draft form after next Thursday's organizer's meeting.

The schedule is usually announced in November at the Solo1 workshop before the banquet.

It will probably look VERY similar to the 2009 schedule, except it will be 2010 instead ;).

Okay, I lied. I thought the track dates were confirmed, but the tracks will hopefully get back to Chuck this week. Not much use posting dates until it is known which tracks are available when.

Number of events (8) will be the same as last (this) year.

The tracks typically hold the old dates, but we can get bumped if something big comes up (ALMS at Mosport). So then the committee has to decide if they want the same venues as last year, and confirm to the tracks with a deposit.

If people want different locations, or more events, then raise it with the committee members!

The tracks have been contacted but have not confirmed any of the presented dates so far. I hope to know by early next week.
