Geez, so many days with no new stories to read!!!

What happened at TLMC? How'd the STI's do? Was it a Subaru cakewalk or did some outsiders cause trouble?

What a beautiful day it was! Sunday the 21st of September was cool, sunny and temperate for the duration. The convoy started off with over 12 cars showing up at Collosus in preparation to making the trek up to TLMC. TLMC has always been known to be the "Friendliest" and most "Relaxed" competitive atmosphere, if that's possible, out of all the events. The access to a wonderful venue, Molson Centre Parking Lot, also plays a big part in the equation.

This event was no different, the competition ranged from home made MR2 components made to resemble a car, to the brand new 350Z and WRX STI. The field consisted of approximately 50 - 55 cars wih a strong minority consisting of Subaru's. The track was laid out in a a clockwise direction, sort of, transitioning to a counter clock wise direction using the famed "TLMC Crossover" at the center of the track. The position of the center crossover allowed for high speeds and positioned the the marker pin cone to allow for some spectacular drifting. The SPDA crew had a little wager and agreed to sacrifice the first run to drift around the marker cone.

Needless to say, the first drift seemed to set the precident for the rest of the day, as scoobs drifted around the cone, one after the other. Not the fastest way, but the most fun and spectacular to watch.

What a great day!!! Results: FTD went to Peter Lejbjuk with a 44.6, just sneaking past the veteran driving a hugely overweight "Family Sedan" by just 1 tenth of a second.

Two thumbs up for everyone that attended, and another round of applause for TLMC for holding another first class event.

Honourable Mention: It was a pleasure to see Yoshio Kinoshita from Japanese Auto at the event, he joined the SPDA convoy towards Barrie and had a fantastic time negotiating the autocross. Lots of smiles all around closing with the famous last words "My Cerika need LSD". Yoshio, hope to see you out at more events, it was nice to have you there.

Also: Thanks you ETAM for taking videos of the event, we're looking forward to seeing the drifting.
