It is with a very sad heart that I pass on the notice that Fay and Ken Grave's boy Leonard passed away yesterday (Oct 15) after losing his battle with cancer.

I don't have any details of the arangements at this time.

(Member of Squires Circle 4742) Peacefully at his residence with his family by his side, on Thursday, October 15th, 2009 at 18 years of age.

Beloved son of Fay and Ken Graves. Dear grandson of Placido Sr. and the late Maxima Marcos. Leonard will be sadly missed by Anthony and Nicole, his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Grant, Julie and all the nurses and support staff at Sick Kids Oncology Unit, for their tireless effort and support.

Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Monday, October 19th from 7 – 9 P.M. and Tuesday, October 20th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 P.M. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 20th at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GERTRUDE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King Street East, Oshawa) on Wednesday, October 21st at 11:00 A.M. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to the SickKids Foundation, Oncology Department would be appreciated.
