^Thankfully, no...well not that I know of. Only vomiting that seemed to have occurred was from (what I heard) the rad of a yellow VW Golf.

Yeah I was wondering why during one of my dry runs the car felt a little lose. When I got back into the pits I saw that I had driven right through the puddle of rad fluid which I then in turn traced back to the yellow vw

I had a heart attack when I parked right where that VW had parked so I could do my marshalling, and when I came back I thought my rad had exploded . Turns out after checking my coolant levels it wasn't mine. Good times.

HAHA I had the same reaction when I first saw the rad fluild! I got down and started looking under my car right away because the run before that one i went into that dip before the stop box sideways and hard. Although I guess if the car can hold up with no damage to the off i put it through at DDT then that should be nothing!
So when does Forza 4 come out????

I think the course was too short for any of us to be a vomit comet, but there were some squeals of sensory overload, even in from my car.

great pics guys! hey Gord... that CN tower reflection shot is photoshop'd right??
This might back up my theory that my shocks aren't rebounding like they used to. I've never seen light under a front tire especially with a passenger.

No photoshopping at all, just some level tweaking in Lightroom.

...probably due to all the downforce from that wing on the back ;)

Can't thank everyone enough for the great event! The course was definetly the shortest we have ever ran but the layout made the best of it and it was both quick with a dose of tecnical sections that made for a really fast and fun 20 seconds.
It was great taking out all those green eyed noobs! Everyone who got in my car was given the " you should really try autox'n next season by me" and im sure there will be some noobs out on the course next summer! By the end of the day im pretty sure i had a slight idea of what the RING TAXI drivers must feel like every day in their ///M5's!
Thanks to all who organized it! And thanks to all who took pictures, there are some truly epic shots!

actually I made it a point to walk along the road where all the people were stopping to watch, so I could talk to them and mention what we were doing. I think I convinced a couple to come out next season to the regionals... I was whoring out the info to everyone :D

I was glad to see someone remembered to put the casc website on the time cards.
Still the timing of the event is a bit unfortunate to keep the energy going. This could be offset by starting a new precedent that next years Autoslalom school is queued up almost a year in advance. Not to mention more than just the one as I remember talking to a pair of guys in July/August who were really keen but seemed to feel they needed the school to get involved. Anyhow the good news is I was told multiple schools would be a priority consideration in the future, which is great to hear.

Apparently theres a video out on xBox live that covered the event, and a couple ppls cars are in it. I never got to see it, but people were telling me about it :)
Yup, confirmed, I was informed that there was an official videographer there present taking vids of the event. The videos are presented through the XBOX Dashboard. There are a few cars that were captured, including the Purplish Brownish SC Miata.

I have no Xbox to check on my own, but any idea if my car was caught on film? If so I'll have to harass one of my buddies so I can check it out.
No idea.. Maybe Taylor can be nice enough to provide some screen shots or short vids.

Yeah I don't have a rig for doing live video capture off my system but I could use one of my digicams.. anyhow I'll watch it first... (just waiting for something to download on it right now)

No rusty Corolla's in sight :(, they must have not wanted to showcase the body damage feature of Forza in that video :D

I think that short shot of Paul's car surrounded by tire smoke and blowing through the stop box might have been me driving. :D

Having seen it from an different angle I can't be 100% sure, but I'd bet money that was your run. The front wheels turning while locked kind of give it away.
