Hey all,

What is the general opinion on running a different tire front/rear? For example, Andrew is selling some Yok A032R SC's, but I currently have the HC's ... can I run the HC's in the rear and the SC's in the front? Do you think the stability will be adversly affected?

There's a guy doing this already. He drives a dark green Saturn with R-comps in front and Azenis in back.

I bet he'll be at the COMP event this Sunday.

Oh yeah, it seems to work exceptionally well for him.

They should be fine together.

It's when you put drastically different tires on front and rear i.e. r's on the front and streets on the rear, that you get stability problems.

I have run different brands of R's front and rear and had no problems (except when I had stiff walled BFG's on the front and extremely soft sidewalled Dunlop Formula Ford tires on the rear, which made for some extremely loose turn ins).

This is not such a bad thing in a FWD :)
