The dates have been set for the 2010 Motorsport Marshalling Services (MMS) New Marshal Schools. These free two-day training weekends will take place May 8/9, June 19/20 and if needed, August 7/8 at Mosport International Raceway.
This training will enable interested motorsport enthusiasts to earn a Probationary CASC Marshalling License. That license will enable school graduates to immediately begin working trackside to provide flagging and communication services during CASC sanctioned racing at Mosport International Raceway. The school also gives potential candidates the opportunity to find out if they would enjoy this volunteer position, and to determine if they meet the requirements and personal qualifications expected by MMS.
For more information and/or to register for one of the schools go to the MMS website (http://www.motorsportmarshalling.on.ca) or contact our recruiting co-ordinators Pat and Peter Bayman (pbayman2000@rogers.com).
For details about the training content, the weekend school schedule, and follow-up requirements, contact Mike Hodge (mhodge321@rogers.com), MMS instructor.
