How much shorter is it than a regular jack?

The regular ones are 5 1/4"
The other nice thing is it has a beefy handle, and a clip on the side to hold the pump handle. The 14 inch height is a little too low for an oil change, but perfect for changing wheels, but I'm used to the 22 inch lift on my SUV jack.

I've got a big floor jack for my garage, but having a portable shorty for slaloms where I don't need ramps would be nice.
As was pointed out in the HADA board, the price appears to be the regular price for the jack, so it's not 'on' sale, but it is 'for' sale... :)

one of my friends picked up one very similar to this one at a costco for around 188.00
super light, and purty
http://www.jmtools.com/details.asp?Itemid=11-3032
but compared the price and capacity
the crappy tire is a deal
the one he had was 3 1/2 inches and went under the lowered
miata on 13's easily..
no more pos helper ramps to lift the car.
its cheap, a low profile 2 ton and great for lowered cars!!!

Summit racing sells an aluminum low profile jack that lifts 300lbs up to 17.5 inches for $169.95us.It doesn't list the lowest height but it looks very low with only a single roller up front instead of 2 wheels.Weighs 37lbs.

The point was that a 300 lb lifting capacity seems a little low for jacking up a car. OR maybe it's just me
