OK so I need a couple of spare stock lug nuts and figured "how expensive can OEM be?". Well try $5 EACH!
So can any tell me if they have seen closed end, chrome (preferably, but I'll consider coloured), spherical seat, 19mm wheel nuts around? I can't find them in London.

Wheel & Tire Zone maybe......
I have some OE spares left over from my Prelude you can have. Drop me an e-mail if you want to swing by my place sometime. Or I'll see about having Wes or Hanif drop them off the next time they're at a WOSCA fall slalom or something.

I don't really need them now, I was just curious for future reference. I find the OE nuts to be a little soft and I cross thread 1 a year. Although the stud gets damaged more often than the nut. Thanks though Dave.

I bought a complete set of 16 lug nuts from my local dealer for $25 a couple years back...
I know Wal-mart and Crappy Tire sells them in sets of 4 or 5. Try them.

I bought nuts for my retro-80s CSA rims at a place called Jim's Speed Equipment on Wellington Rd. They had all sorts of different kinds and lots of sizes too. Had the exact ones I needed, in the right thread pattern, in stock.
They charged $1.75 each, which worked out to about HALF of what Crappy Tyre wanted for the same thing.

Ooo thanks Jay, I forgot all about Jims. I never go there anymore because when I had my Supra I went in there and was treated like a jerk because I owned a Japanese car.
Try going in and asking one of the techs, I'm sure they have a whole bunch of them laying around. It's worth a try and it'd probably be free too.

No, I know the parts manager at London Honda. He's an ex-WOSCA member and solo competitor. Trust me $6 a piece is the best price I was getting at the dealer. They also said that the nuts were model specific and would have to be ordered in.
Hmm odd I know there are different styles, but I didn't think they would change that much.

I couldn't see the difference between me lugs and the 98 Accord lugs, but they do have different part numbers (same price).

All Honda OE nuts use a Radius seat, and are interchangeable. $6.00 per nut is pretty cheap, to be honest.
I usually keep used or take off nuts around, and since the factory ones are usually $8-10 each, we usually charge $4.00 each.
Some dealerships keep some used/take off ones around too, so I would ask.
Cheers!
