Where to go tomorrow: WOSCA or COMP?

Which is the hot ticket tomorrow?

We'll probably get more runs at COMP, but marshalling in the cold, wet rain would suck. And those poor passengers have to wait in the rain while the driver competes.

WOSCA is so far from T.O. and I may get back in the dark, but optional marshalling is cool. 1/2 tank round trip :rolleyes:

WOSCA now has marshaling. Each competitor must marshal after one run. The run you marshal after will be asigned on the grid list. It was getting out of hand with organizing and having no marshaling volunteers.

But COMP often cancelled events do to rain, so you should check if they cancelled todays auto-x race!

Only 25 cars (thank God for the break!). We got 5 runs in by just after 3pm then did fun runs for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was off the lot (last one) by 4:45 and should have results up within the hour.

Mercifully it stopped raining by about 10:30 so from course walk on everybody stayed relatively dry. Although the course was wet until the 5th ru (and even then only slightly better). The sun came out for fun runs and everybody took 1 - 2 seconds off. What was the event I've least looked forward too all year ended up being a really good day! (partially because I was FTD against the sub's in the wet early part of the day. :p )
