I need to sell my 2001 FZ1,love this bike but my bad neck doesn't so I put money down today on a sport touring bike with better wind protection.
It has 23k,new carb boots(showed some slight age cracking of the rubber)rejetted carbs(runs wicked strong)ignition advancer,new rubber mid season last year,dual element MVA windshield(in an effort to improve wind protection,its much improved but not enough)rear tire hugger,MIVV slip-on exhaust(and perfect stock pipe),protaper bars with risers.Always garage kept and well maintained.
No crashes,its a prime example of a hooligan sport bike.

Why didn't you buy my sport touring bike?????

The blackbird is still too much of a lean forward bike,I sat on a ZZR1200 which is virtually identical(it also had aftermarket risers)to the blackbird its just a little too stretched out.Guess my arms are too short.:)

I'm getting an FJR1300,good all around bike for the type of riding I do nowadays.
