As these are the most popular events of the year, and many people are new to the series, there will be additional registration requirements and additional time needed to get the event started, cars entered into the computers, and other organizer and administrative tasks.
As such we need to speed up the registration time as much as possible, so that we can get the event started earlier. No-one likes to wait around.
So, effective at these events, you will be required to come to registration with fully filled out registration documents. No exceptions. Anyone who does not have completed documents for registration will forfeit their fastest time.
Registration will be open by 8:00am and will be closing at 9:00am - any stragglers will be charged $5 additional after 9:00am at organizers discretion.
Registration form for the regionals is here ..Click here (http://www.casc.on.ca/uploadedFiles/2010_AutoSlalom_reg100318130133.pdf)!
If you are only running this event, SPDA/STLAC do not have a separate form/series, so fill out the same form.
If you have any questions, ask them now, as we will not have time to answer questions at registration.
Club representatives will be present to answer your classing questions, or ask them now too!
SPDA and STLAC are looking forward to your co-operation to get us on the track sooner, with less waiting around, and maximizing the number of runs we all get.
Since this is a two day event, you will have the opportunity to pay for both days, at the first day registration, just having to sign the waiver on day 2.
I am looking forward to everyone's co-operation to make this another memorable event.
Thank you all.

How much is the registration for the 2 days?
If we are already signed up for the provincials, we only need to show up with our $, correct?

SPDA and STLac are charging $35 per day - so $70.
If you are series registered, just show up with your drivers licence, cash for the clubs, and a smile on your face :)

Is this really fair to those that don't frequent this forum and are possibly coming out to try autoslalom for the first time? It might put a few people off, that's all. The last thing we need to do is put a sour taste in people's mouths right at the start of the weekend.
I don't really care as I'm series registered. I'm just concerned for those that have been informed of the event via word of mouth or the SPDA poster. Chances are that this info wasn't passed along by those channels.
Hi All,
To aid in the smooth running of the registration process, can everyone please download the form above and pre-fill it out.
Those persons that are already series registered need only to show up with the Dr. Lic and your mulah, you're good to go.
For classing information, the Autoslalom Director has indicated that if there are any questions, please post them here so we can assist in putting you in the correct class.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated, we may have an overbearing number of competitors, and our focus is to deliver the value you've previously experienced in both the number of runs and and the fun factor of the event.
It all starts with "Registration and how quickly we can get that moving".
Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincere Regards
JoeT

Both clubs will have club ambassadors available with blank paperwork available for first timers, but now is a great time to get all the questions answered, and paperwork filled out. More runs for you and them. So - Just fill out the paperwork before you line up.
The more time we spend in administrative things that can be done in advance, the less time we have to enjoy what we are there to do.

At the first event that's what I was told and I had to walk up and fish them out of Mike's portfolio myself.

If you filled out the form and paid the series registration fee, then you are good.

Serge, if all you've paid for was the first event, you'll need to fill out the form again to be safe, please.
See you there.

For non-series, club event only, the clubs can allow non-members to the event.
For series registration, you need to be a member of a CASC affiliated club. Both clubs running this event are great CASC clubs to join too :)
Attachment is too big for attaching.

Joe, the forum wont allow it to be attached due to size restrictions (100K max), you can try this link; http://solo2.casc.on.ca/info/documents/2010/2010_AutoSlalom_registration.pdf
or try accessing it from either of these pages:

Just to check something, still waiting back on my confirmation that my registration for Peterborough Motor Sports Club is received (my fault, long stupid story of procrastination) but I did join the SPDA as well, as you folks have been great.
So... with all that said, series reg paid and form submitted at Mosport DDT, I'm good, right?

He will not be registering for the series, just these events. He will be using my car. The form on the first page should suffice plus his fee to compete?
