I know we're "grass"roots, but you don't have to take it so literally!
Wes was snapping pix of grass and flowers at our marshall station during a lull in the action- that was when the sp/mod/st classes were breaking the timing equipment:rolleyes:...just giving them a hard time.
great shots again! thanks wes.

Great shots, Wes. One of the highlights of the series, to me, are the excellent pictures that you take and post. You've got a great eye for car shots (and flowers and people, too).

What run group were you in? I ran with the Stock and Super Stock group for the first runs, shot the SP and Mod group, then shot the Stock and SS before running with SP and Mod in their last runs.
If you only ran while I was running I didn't get any shots, sorry. We are talking about Sunday, correct? If were talking about Saturday I know there were two or three cars I missed. If you were one, I apologize.:(

Hey, standing out there for hours (two run groups) any down time I start to get, well bored and sunburnt, so I start looking for something else to occupy the time until the next vehicle arrives. Besides I want to play a bit with a new lens.....

I ran the 1st run group, talked with you during the LONG 2nd run group, rested my foot during the 3rd run group and ran the 4th, so it does sound like I was unlucky... nothing to apologize about, just bad luck.
Was nice meeting you :)

Sorry, sounds like you ran the same time I did, so no pictures..... How is the ankle doing? It looked like it was going to be a nasty bruise.....

Ya no worries.
As for the foot, it barely bruised as it was mostly the tendons that got damaged. I still have big scabs and is still sensitive at times, but I played some ultimate frisbee (organized league) earlier this week and soccer last night with a proper tape job and it went fine. Should be near 100% within a week or two. Thanks for asking :)
