Event #2

I just wanted to express my thanks and appreciation to all those who participated in and helped out at Event #2 Sunday at the DDT. By the time I held the final meeting a lot of people had packed up and left which is okay, I understand. I just wanted to make sure everyone had enough lapping at the end of the day.

I owe a huge thank you to Dave Barker, who really helped me out immensely and honestly did most of the arranging before hand. Thank you to the dedicated series volunteers in registration, scrutineering, timing, instructors, clerks, marshals and everything/everyone else I have forgotten. These events just do not happen without all these people.

Thanks and hope to see you all in a couple of weeks at TMP.

Yes and thanks to all the competitors who believed that mother nature would help us out and bring back the sun. The second half of the day was perfect for a Solosprint event.

i was also impressed that everyone kept their cars on the track during morning lapping in the pouring rain, standing.. and running water :)

With 4 Wheel drive you would think that !!

I believe Frank set FTD in the first session, which was supposed to be the faster group.

Thank the weather gods that the lowly weather man was wrong again.

My times dropped about 24 seconds from the morning to the afternoon sessions.
