ATTS Resumes on July 31st 2010 - TOUGE
Event 3: July 31, 2010
Registration Fee: $75.00 / Competitor, Spectators Free
Registration: 8:30 - 9:30 am
Mandatory Drivers Meeting: 9:30 - 10:00
Practice runs: 10:00 - 12:30
Competition runs: 2:00 - Finish
Awards: 4:30 PM
Location: Mosport DDT - 3233 Concession Road #10, RR #5, Bowmanville, Ontario
In the narrow mountain roads of Japan, road warriors would get together to challenge each other in a game of skill.
1 Car ahead 1 car behind in a game of chase, the front runner focused on extending their lead, the chaser working on closing the gap.
The one that crosses their finish line first will move forward as the victor, only to face another challenger. This sudden death competition will continue
until a victor rises from the crowd in each of the 4 classes.
Mosport DDT will be modified using cones to simulate the narrow streets of the mountains of Japan. Competitors will get a chance to lap the circuit throughout the morning
getting familar with the course. As soon as lunch time hits, the TOUGE begins. Touch or knock down a cone and it's equivalent to falling off a cliff. A bit of strategy
A bit of skill and a lot of luck will determine the victors of the event.
ATTS Trophy Placques will go to the victor of each class, and points will be awarded towards the ATTS series.
To the tradition of the ATTS, there will be coaching available for newcomers, and all the prizes will be drawn, each of the participants will have equal ability to take home
lots of prized courtesy of the sponsors of the ATTS.
Title Sponsor JRP will be providing: Cases of Royal Purple Oil, GoPro camera's, Sprint Booster, T-Shirts
Co sponsor: Toyo Tires will be subsidizing the event to reduce the cost of entry to only $75.00 / competitor
Fourstar Motorsports: ECU Tuning and Dyno time using the newly updated ECUTEK software for Mitsubishi, Subaru, Mazda's
Total prize value for this event is greater than $2500.00 combined.
