Through an old posting on Special Stage I've been in touch with someone in Rochester who finds himself in possession of a good number of vintage route books, spectator pamphlets and other paraphernalia from rallies all over Ontario, Quebec and the North Eastern US. He'd like to see these papers go to someone who could use them for archival, history or perhaps even for future rally use.
I was after any info about Atlantic Canadian rallies, so I'm taking the info he has about the '88 Dartmouth Highlands rally off his hands, but there's plenty of other documents that would represent quite the archive for an interested party.

Details on what he's got available:
All of these came from John McArthur about 10 years ago and were from when he co-drove for Dan Thiel, Rusty Campbell, and (possibly) Celcuk Karamanoglu (spelling?). Pretty interesting stuff. One thing he used to do was get copies of the spectator manuals and glue or tape maps of the spectator areas into the books to be able to give more accurate corner descriptions. Neat stuff!
The route books I have are from the following rallies:
Maine Forest - '91-'96
Baie Des Chaleurs - '94
Charlevoix - '94
Voyageurs - '89-'91
Criterium de la Petite Nation - '89-'91
Sunriser 400 - '88-'90, '94, '95
Tall Pines - '88, '89
Sand Hills - '96
Perce-Neige - '88, '90
Georgian Trials - '88-'90
STPR - '93-'97
Swift Bear - '98
Dartmouth Highlands - '88
Ojibwe - '88, '89, '92-'94
There are also some official results that were sent out along with a few spectator guides for some of the events.
If some does decide to give these papers a home please let me know, I'd hate to see them lost as these things often become.
