I'm going to be ordering my roll cage for the Focus on Monday and I just want to be sure it's going to be ok for use next year. The cage is SCCA and NASA road race legal it's made of with DOM.
Since I plan to continue running track days and want to try solo 1 I decided to get a 6pt and the window net.

police and likes to get asked to "touch his toes"

Just what do you plan to do with my car that will require a cage??
Sure you can flip a focus but only if you run R's on stock suspension, and to the best of my knowledge it's only happened a few times.
You can co drive but you have to help tune it, I see a day at that go cart track in my future.

That sounds like a great plan! Tom, what would it cost me for a test session on the go-kart track with my car?

BTW although CSC sponsors Solo-1, they specifically stiputlated that absolutely non of their sponsorship money given to CASC-OR be used to support Solo-2. So take their "support of solo" with a grain of salt if your a solo-2 competitor.

"This is what was told to me at the solo II workshop "CSC does not want ANY of its sponsorship money going to soloII" Is this true and if this is true then why should soloII competitors support CSC?"
I have asked this question before and the response I got was ................... none

I'd love to help with sorting suspension settings with you,as for the kart track we'll have to see as the owner understandably wants insurance coverage provided by the user.
Like I said in an earlier post,if my club can be affiliated and obtain the required insurance I see no reason why a test and tune day couldn't be arranged in the spring.
Martini focus check your PM's.

Cool. I think using a go-kart track would be much more useful for a Solo 2 car, than using a racecar track.

I think Perry answered this question in the other roll cage thread pretty well.

Sorry Pat I must be blind. One thing I do know is I have sent out pm's to get a straight answer and never got a response.

I would trust Fourstar to build me a cage more than CSC but that's just personal opinion.

CSC builds a lot of cages and tube frame chasis, they are plenty experienced. They just built one for one of Perry's cars and its excellent.

No, just working on his crew all year gave me a good look inside the workings of CASC and what has been accomplished this year. Not to mention how hard it is to get and keep sponsors.
I have a lot of respect for him and the rest of the current CASC board.
