1200 HP Scion vs. 600 HP Z06 ..... apparently the aero wasn't helping with cornering speeds ;).

I believe this guy has been covered in the driving school animation (except replace "gutted turbocharged miata" with "twin turbo corvette with super secret, illegal formula1-level racing tires").

you sure that was at full race speed?

they might have just been messing around and testing

No, it was posted by a guy on the 'Vette forum. He wished the guy would have let him by, and/or let him STAY by, but found it interesting to see how quickly the car would pull away from him on the straights (which is impressive, since a ~600 HP Z06 would be nothing to sneeze at in terms of straightline speed/acceleration).

The guys were cutting up the Scion driver huge! :D "Apparently" the car had "brake problems" (which doesn't really explain incorrect corner lines, etc).

So what were the 'vette's lap times? Cuz Rado did a 2:21.532 and was third fastest on the day behind two GTRs.

He also ran a 2:16 in the same car on Sunday:

Yeah, in the video comments he says how he's never met the driver who's probably a cool dude. I'm thinking no sorry, the dude is a pretty serious douche. He's obviously much slower - which is FINE! No one's out there to win a million dollars but Jesus man, get out of the gas for one straight and you'll never have to see the Vette again.

"Apparently" the car had "brake problems"

LOL yeah, how expected. The brake bias was all off, the pads were overheated, the tires were greasy, the corner balance wasn't right, my left shoulder belt was loose, the steering rack was hooked up backwards. Anything but "I need to learn how to drive better" (although that last one could explain the driving - he did appear to have trouble figuring out left from right).

Maybe it wasn't him driving in the video?

Nice post - love watching runs around Sebring. Corvette sounds awesome! Who ever was driving the Scion needs to get his ego in check and come to Solo for some of our top quality instruction :D ...and our resident expert Adam can help with wing adjustments

Whoa, how the hell do you get 1200hp in a Scion?

Under the vid it says it was his first lap on a new track. Hardly a fair comparison.

Well for those ~7 minutes he was ;).

Looked like more than one lap to me :p.

Besides, any GOOD driver should know that if it's your FIRST TIME ON A TRACK, and you're being PUSHED through every corner, you might as well LET THE OTHER DRIVER GO BY and maybe you might pick up the line from them . Once you know the line, great, then stay in front and prove how much faster you are.
