Helmets

Hello everyone.

Just want to double check the Helmet requirements for Solo 1.

I've tried to view/print the 2001 Reqs.pdf file (2001 Official Rule Book) on the Solo Ontario site but was unable to access them since the site was updated with new files.

I'm looking at the 1999 Rule Book were it is stated that; "Opend or Close face Helmets" have to be "Snell 1985M or newer (Motorcycle Standard) are acceptable...

Was there any change since then (1999)???

I did not see anything about this in the Clasification System Proposal & Rule Book Changes.

The site now works for me!

Page 7 contains the relevant info on helmets.

Basically a Snell 90 or better M rated is OK if you don't have a roll cage, otherwise you need a SA + a 5-point harness.
