Hey guys, it took me a while to register but here I finally am. I came out to the #6 Autoslalom event (only as a spectator lol), it was my first time ever coming out to any of the CASC-OR events! I had a blast, and it was a pleasure meeting everybody. During the fun run at the end I decided to let G take my 94 Mazda MX-3 once around the course to see what it could do (and it was absolutely wicked, I might add!), and on my way home I was hearing an odd clunking noise from my front end when I made turns... That's when I began wondering if that bolt they found on the track had come from my car! Hahah, after I jacked up the car and took off the wheel the culprit was evident: a broken front swaybar endlink! Awesome!

Anyways I hope to be an active participant next season! I took a bunch of photos and finally uploaded them so here they are. Enjoy! :D

Thanks for the pics.
Hey, what does everyone think: Brake Glow or a Cone Reflection?

I would think it is a cone because you can see a bit in the rear of the fender

Squat Like You Mean It (http://www.flickr.com/photos/16234055@N08/4967764022/)
Might be faster if I just pick the wheel right up over the cone, don't have that much further to lift it.

Not from this event... but this is ultimate Subie squat.
You've got good Squat & Roll, though!

That's some impressive squatting action. Reminds me of my dog taking a pee.
The Scoob (car this is, not dog) feels all out place at Brampton and I get fuzzy feelings for Civics and Miatas.
Then I went to Picton last weekend and she was just tasty, despite my ham fisted attempts to destroy all of St. Lac's poor cones.
Mmmmm, tasty ham....

thanks a lot for the pictures! No problem! I'm glad you guys are enjoying them. A lot of them are kind of far away - I don't have a crazy lens for my camera (yet). And as for the squat, that's not too bad considering the yellow Datsun had its front wheel completely off the ground a few times!
I forgot to thank everyone who let me ride along in their cars, I had a blast! :D

This photo is rather dated (2006?). Stock dampers and springs...
SteveD opined that this was the result of a trunk full of Costco purchases.
Konis and some STi Pinks have taken care of a lot of the squatting (with the latter introducing another set of challenges).
