Does anyone know much about the pros/cons of daily driving a car with these carbs? I'm looking at a pair with manifold and linkages that claim to be a bolt on and turn key setup. They are 45's with 36 chokes I believe. They would be going on a 2.1 or 2.3L engine. Would driveability/reliability be an issue in cold temps, or is tuning them a pain? If anyone has any experience with them, or knows of any issues or quirks with using them, feel free to chime in.

Thanks
Erik

Will you drive in all 4 season's?
I drove my car (not a daily, but I got about 12 000Km on the thing this summer...) from april until now, with 0 issues...

I am running a bit rich on hot days, but nothing I can't deal with.

The problem you might have is cold starting in winter, and re-jetting for denser cold air. I personnaly don't know anything about that situation, as I only drive mine in the other 3 seasons. I never had to fiddle with my jets after I got them dialed in.

If my guess that the engines you mentioned are B21, B23 or B230, here are links to a couple of sites where you may get some help: http://www.brickboard.com/ http://forums.turbobricks.com/index.php Also, a while back I bought a 12a rotary engine that I intend to build as a race engine which had a DCOE 45 which was in a daily driver FB RX7. This car had a manual choke and was driven year round with no issues, but that was in Dallas Texas where it doesn't get as cold as we do, so I don't know how Webers would work here.
