Dunno if this is the right place....

but is it possible to sign up for the solo1 championship after the open house?

AFAIK you just have to get the CASC license, fill out the forms (available on the web site (http://www.soloontario.com/)) and then register for the events. I didn't register for any of the events until June last year, and a mixup had me sans CASC license until August.
