Well, here is a load of crap. I was just watching Canada's Worst Driver and they used...Dunnville Autodrome...excuse me, Dunnville Airport.
So i guess the village council sees that its ok to use the site for driver training. I wonder if the neighbours complained.
You'll never see me in Dunnville unless the Autodrome opens again. What's the god damn point?

I'd like to see Dunnville open again, but "Canada's Worst Driver" uses street cars with stock mufflers, so the noise level is not comparable to competition cars, nor do they hit the same speed as competition cars.

Yah but the drivers are idiots with a greater possibilty to drive through the neighbours backyards and into their living rooms. I guess that's better than some noise. :)
When I heard about the Dunnville issues made me think what a bunch of morons, moving to a place where there was an established business that made known noise and then complain about it.
This totally shows the village politics, and the ignorance that their council has. I think it was posted before but I'd say whoever is in Dunnville on the streets near the Airport, keep the car in 2nd and make some noise in protest. Oh wait, they may not here you because they have there gas lawnmowers going or snow blowers(depending on the time of year), but that noise is good noise.

There is no limit to how stupid people can be. For example a fews years back a new subdivision was built in Peterborough about a mile and a half from the Airport. Turns out some of the people who bought houses there did not realize planes do take off and land there. They wanted restrictions on when planes could take off or land. But they never complained about the railroad tracks or two major highways which boarder the development.
