I Went to solo1 open house, registered, received my decals and picked my number.
Where do I buy some magnetic sheet to stick them all on so I don't have to stick them on my car?

Buck up! Use a stapler!

Hrm. Maybe not.

You can usually pick up magnetic material at the first couple of Solo 1 events or at the Solo 1 school. Otherwise, try your local sign/vinyl shop.

I have the magnetic material here at the shop. I usually sell a 24" x 36" piece for $20. Feel free to drop by the shop and pick some up. I can, if you call me ahead of time bring a few pieces to the track.

I attended the Solo I school last weekend and one of the few things I have left to do before the first event is to get numbers for my car. How do those of you using magnetics get your numbers to stay on at speed? We use 1' tall by 2' long sheets on the doors for Solo II but have problems with them falling off when speeds top about 80kph.

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
Most guys cut the magnetic to the shape of the decals they attach to the car, some guys put the magnetic sheet on the door with all the decals in one piece and add a piece of tape just to hold it on.
we use a thicker magnetic here so it usually isn't a problem.

Given;
1) The increased emphasis on making sure we’re running all the sponsor decals,
2) At the first event I got at least some/most(?) of this season’s decals
3) I still have the decals from last year (on magnetic backing)
Is there a comprehensive list of which decals we should have?
A checklist would be ideal…

Thanks in advance,
Mark
