This is a run by the B stock winner at Nationals last summer.

The speed through the slalom is just amazing.
The grip is amazing
Must have been Hoosiers on concrete.

He really has a thing for his shifter Knob.

Thats one fine course layout too! Looks like it was at an airport somewhere. EXCELLENT VID! :D
That course looks awesome! Nice driving too.
He's at the top of second gear in an S2000 (what do those things redline at, 9000?), that must be good for 90-110 km/h...

I don't think I've seen anywhere other than Ontario that uses the concept of a stop box.
Imagine .. an entire run and he didn't ever have to turn the wheel more than 3/4 of a rotation!
If only we had lots that size available.

SCCA doesn't actually stop. They just slow down and go to the pits.

And that makes a whole lot of sense, because sitting still in the stop box with a heavy car, waiting for the marshals to stop talking and move the end cone can only contribute more to pulsing brake pedal syndrome.

I like the idea of the stop box it adds one more thing to challenge the driver.

I don't think he's in the top of 2nd. (mind you I haven't tried to examine his tach, but it doesn't sound near redline)
I'm always surprised to see how impressed people are with that video. He makes all the same mistakes I did (and tried to get rid of) with the one handed steering and using the shifter as a brace in turns) :)
