Auto show/Speedorama

Speedorama. Has it been a year already?!?!

I had already found the web site a surfed it a very little. But I remember seeing the booth and walking up to who I later found out to to be Rob McAuley. I asked a few things about the sport. Including if I'd get "laughed off the track" if I showed up in my Mini. His answer was good one, and I was at the school in the spring.

Aaaahhhhh...Now I know who I can blame for getting me hooked on this insanity! ;)

It was the booth at Speedorama that introduced me into this sport, which has since cost me mucho $$$! I hate the booth. OK, actually, I love the booth!! Love the sport! Looking forward to spring!

good to hear we found a couple of quality Solo 1 peeps like you two at Speedorama. Not sure if we've had such good luck with the show in previous years, but it's really hard to gauge since we don't always get feedback regarding how people heard of the series. Maybe it's one of those deals where the more often we go to the show the more potential competitors we'll attract to the series. Getting our "brand" out there on a regular basis is probably half the battle :)

A lot of people need to get to know you a bit, and have the concept percolate for a bit, before they buy into it. So its a good idea to have the same people man the booth from year to year. (Or "woman" it!) :)
