I notice that Eric Juraska ran 4 seconds a lap faster at Shannonville's Pro Track in Septembers as compared to May. This is a very interesting statistic.

I'm curious to know if it was the conditions or just that during the early part of the year, nobody has the "edge" they get nearer the end.

The first event was basically a wet event . I should know , I was the first guy out on the track where there had been no practice session and no warm up of any kind . I spent the whole first session dodging the puddles left from the night before . By the second session it had already sprinkled again but there was an emerging dry line . Un fortunately yours truely managed to be too keen and looped it at turn 2 giving me a DNF . Too bad 'cause it would have won the class , but I had no chance to atone for my errors as by the 3rd session it was raining heavily . I didn't run enough events to have one to throw away which proved to be most unfortunate in the long run . But what's that about spilt milk ??
