I'd like to look at getting involved in racing more so this summer. I don't have any official data logging courses under my belt but I am an Electronic's Tech and am familiar with different instrumentation accelerometers GPS etc. I also have familiarity with Motec logging through of all things the GTR2 computer game. I have a fully functioning version of the software. I have also read various material on suspension design and am familiar with the different aspects of suspension design and function. I'm also an avid reader of Racecar Engineering and have experience racing kart's and lapping in various car's.

I'm also keenly interested in aerodynamic's and have read Simon McBeath's (Racecar Engineering Aero guy) Competition Car Aerodynamics.

I currently have a less then fulfilliing full time job and would love to be at the track on the weekends.

I'll email resume's to those who might be interested.

Are you guys in F1200 still using stone, square wheels... or has the round wheel fad arrived yet ?

Try them after the torsion bar suspension craze burns out.

I think that there is a car+track option in Gran Turismo 5 for F1200's with round wheels and a coil-over rear suspension.

Very, ummmm, radical ;)

Torsion bar's are common in F1 and protoypes btw lol. I've got nothing against them. Swing axles however might be another story.

Anyone looking for a semi intelligent, keen racing nut?
