HAHA! If you only knew how accurate that statement really is. I think I'm in the 8th year of my PhD now...

Dave's PhD is in multiple disciplines,

-Sleeping In late every day
-Blowing up Motors
-Making big messes in his Garage
-Surfing various message boards
-Polishing his forhead

At least that is what I can figure out ... It is all he seems to do … :P

It is actually an Artsy Fartsy "Study of Society" type of PhD

Hehehe

Hoping to run in 2004 … at least a couple of events … in the new and improved nasty Civic Hatch in GT-1

Moose, I believe you already have your PhD in blowing up engines and in somehow dyno'ing your engine at horsepower levels so low that it defeats all logic :)

Nate, my PhD is in Medical Anthropology...specifically refugee health and adaptation/resilience. I worked mainly with the Somali community, though I've also worked with refugees from other parts of the world. I've been "just in the process of finishing it off" (meaning my written dissertation) for the last few years now :) Ah well, life is not a race...that's what I've got Solo 1 & 2 for!

I thought PhD stood for: Piled higher and Deeper.....maybe I'm mistaken :D

Or, in my summer job, we used our PhD's to dig post holes;)

Sounds like an interesting field. It's good to have variety of people doing this kinda stuff:)...instead of just motor-heads/engineers:D .

LOL...post hole digger, that's a new one to me! I like it, and it probably pays better than academia too ;)

Well, it pays well enough to pay for academia;).
