Would someone know of who/what/where I can find more information on this school?

It's listed on the CASC website, but emails have not been returned. Any help appreciated thanks! :)

I've found that link and emailed Paul (as listed on the site) but no response.

Am looking for information on cost, where/when, and specific details, which the site doesn't seem to provide.

I took the course about 8 or 9 years ago. It was at a High School in Brampton and it was about $50 I think.

Hi Anna!

The school is over three nights, each Monday night a week apart. Total cost is $50 per entrant (some of the clubs are subsidizing entry for their members, so ask if you have an RSO affiliated club membership.)

The first night is a "classroom" introduction to how a rally runs, and what you need to do during the rally.

The second night you run a mini-rally to enjoy what you've learned!

The third night they review your results, answer questions, and go over more topics like an introduction to timing.

Special equipment required: A pen, and a watch with a second hand, or even one of those new-fangled digital ones.

March 21st: All the basics and details of how to participate in a navigational rally! Rules of the road, types of instructions, tricks to look out for, etc.

March 28th: Practice this skills! You do a full mini-rally out in Caledon!

April 4th: Review of the challenges during the rally, more difficult note styles, rally equipment, timing, etc.

Update: Both the Toronto Autosport Club and SPDA are offering 50% off the school to their members, plus a $25 coupon to enter one of their club's rallies. To help you with the math, that means you basically get the school for FREE!

Give Paul a call if you have any questions, and we'll see you Monday night!

Silly question but... there's no indication what time the school begins tonight.

Anna, I think that not posting the time was an oversight, but it does force people to register and not walk-in. That helps them make sure that they have enough space and instruction sets for everyone.

I'm glad you ended up finding it on time! The RSO president, a very experienced navigator, went to the wrong location. So uhmmm.... improvements in communication can be made!
