For the $2004 challange I would like to run R compounds if possible. They only have to last for 3 timed AutoX runs, and 3 Dragstrip runs, so they can be worn down to slicks!

So, If anyone has some worn out (but no cords showing) R's in 245 to 265 /45R16's contact me!

I have 255/50R16 Toyo R1 with 60% tread left.
And 245/50/16 BFG R1 that only need 25% worn off to get to the sticky cords. With or without rims for all 8.

Prices? I only have $2004 to spend on the entire car so as cheap as possible please!

I am interested in them all if the price is right.

As soon as I get an ice racer, I will want 8 15"rims for it. I will let you know if it is a Camaro or Mustang. You beg borrow and steal the ugliest and cheapest things you can find, and all swap you my 16" rims and mounted tires.
Better yet, if your Camaro is worth $2004 dollars, I'll buy it off you and give you a tercel with 12 rims, actually, 3 tercels to match the tires, how about that!!

Ummmm...I am actually needing to keep the Camaro for the challange and Solo1 after that.

If its Camaro rims you need, I have got tons of 15" rims. Mustangs with 15" steel rims would be hard to find since I don't think they made them. All fox body steelies Ihave seen are 14". I can look around though...

Cheap alloys are my preference, 8 different ones so I can track the wear :). I'll let you know in the next coupla days.

Wouldn't you get $2004 USD to spend? so you've probably got a bit more than $2004 CDN...

Its about $2600 Cdn - but that includes the purchase of the car, freshening the motor, rebuilding and upgrading the suspension, brakes, etc, painting the car, putting rims and tires on it, etc.

Luckily the tires only have to last one autocross session for the challange.

I do have a decent set of Toyo Proxess FZ4's(good tread still on two, two are worn some) in 245/50R16's that I would like to trade with maybe some $$$ for a decent set of tires that I can use at the school also.

If it was summer I could get used R compounds free, but it isn't and I can't.

The RA1 and BFG R1 with rims are available. You mentioned that you are trading out services to complement your budget. How about providing a list of what you need, and a list of what you have to trade in a new thread?
